Team Up Multisports take pride in the fact that parents choose for us to look after their children and as you would expect we take that responsibility very seriously. Our first priority is that every child is safe when taking part in our activities.

Team Up Multisports is insured annually with public liability insurance and we vow to never run a session without it.

Firstly, we have a risk assessment sent to the school before coaching. We cannot run without a risk assessment being approved by the school. The risk assessment is our first thoughts on what is needed to keep every child safe when running our club. This comes from numerous years of experience in running sports clubs for children. As the club is in motion we will look to add to and improve this document to better keep children safe. We have a seperate risk assessment document for our birthday parties.

Team Up Multisports will follow a safe recruitment policy when hiring staff and ensure all staff are DBS checked before coaching. This is also checked by the school. There will always be a paediatric first aider on site when coaching.

Team Up Multisports use a clear and easy to understand behaviour policy when running our sessions which reduces negative behaviour occurring with the children. This in turn helps to keep every child safe and away from unwanted experiences.

Team Up Multisports are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office to help ensure that we are using data protection correctly. This is important as taking both children and parent's information is a requirement for signing up and we want you to know that we take the responsibility of keeping your information safe very seriously.

Team Up Multisports may take photographs of children to use to help promote the club. Parents can read about the potential risks of using children's images online as well as how and why we may use their child's image. We will only take photos of children if we have the permission of both the parent and child. See our Photography Policy for more information.

As director and sports coach, Ben has a number of years of experience in both coaching primary school aged children and in organising and running sports clubs with children, which means he is aware of the many policies and procedures needed to run a sports club safely. Ben is DBS checked, is a paediatric qualified first aider and has completed an annual Safeguarding course as part of his work at Bishop Gilpin. Ben has also started a Level 3 Safeguarding Lead course, which he plans to complete soon.
